Story telling

Stories have been told since the beginning of time. Through stories portraits of the various faces of the soul are painted and have the opportunity to be understood. Stories remind us of our inner values, the cyclical nature of existence, the interconnection¬†¬†of all beings, the continuous ebb and flow, ups and downs in life…

Sophia’s deep yet playful art of story telling draws the listener in and invites us to delve into spiritual¬†topics. Heart-opening stories from the yogic and Hnidu traditions guide us into the magical world of the Gods. Sophia always loves to build a bridge between these ancient tales and our modern lives, so that we are able to uncover jems for our everyday life. In the words of the American literary giant John Steinbeck ”if a story is not about the hearer, he will not listen. And here I make a rule – a great and interesting story is about everyone or it will not last”.

Sophia also loves sharing stories from her own life as well as stories from other traditions such as the buddhist and celtic story-treasure chests.
